Everyone was up bright and early for breakfast at 6am this morning and it was nice having everyone there for our last day together.
Next was pack up and a bit of cleaning. Everyone is responsible for their own cabins and these get inspected. I’m going to miss our little cabin especially being rocked to sleep each night!
It felt like that most of the morning was spent tracking down all the scientists so we could get a group photo together. Poor Gemma ended up with about 10 different cameras/phones as everyone wanted copies.
It was here that I said goodbye to everyone and lugged by bags off the ship. Who knew you could feel land sick…….
Hope you’ve enjoyed the blog.
